Custom Made Jewellery

Do you make custom jewellery designs?

  • We make in 14 karat gold and above and platinum. 
  • We work with both mined and lab-grown diamonds and gems. 
  • We do not make silver pieces, we do not stock silver. 
  • In silver, only available to make are astrological rings (rings with precious stones)
  • Minimum order value must be $2000
  • 24 Karat Jewellery
  1. We make to order only, nothing kept in stock
  2. We can make only solid rope/curb chains, bracelet, bangle, ring and small pendants
  3. Not complex necklaces

How long does it take to create a custom piece?

  • Depending on complexity, but generally 6 weeks and can go up to 12 weeks
  • Delays can occur that are out of our control
  • In case of urgency:
  • We can check with suppliers what is available (outside of our existing stock) that is ready to be shipped
  • Plain wedding wedding bands, can be created in urgency (which is 2 days to 10 days)
  • Existing stock jewellery can be modified in urgency:
  1. Yes you can remove hanging bits from a necklace
  2. Yes you can add hanging bits onto a necklace
  3. Yes We can modify the bail part of a pendant to fit a larger chain
  4. Yes We can add or remove antique finish on our jewellery
  5. Yes We can change stone colors
  6. Yes we can resize and increase weight on rings
  7. Yes we can shorten existing chains/bracelets (off cuts will be reduced in price)
  8. Yes we can resize most bangles
  9. NO - we cannot extend chains, unless its a generic jump-ring add-on (ie with same pattern)

Can I bring my own design or inspiration photo?

  • Absolutely and highly recommended

Do you use certified diamonds and gemstones?

  • Yes we do, but not exclusively

Do you offer 22k and 18k gold jewellery?

  • Yes we do

What is the difference between 18k and 22k gold?

  • 18 karat gold is 75% gold & alloy whereas 22 karat is 91.6% gold & alloy mix. 22 karat is a softer material and better for intricate jewellery. 18 karat gold jewellery is preferred for use with diamonds.

Do you offer engraving services?

  • Yes we have an in-house laser engraver

What if I cannot make up my mind on the design?

  • Don’t miss the opportunity to lock away a good gold price, just because we cannot decide on the design. We can always finalise the design, but you won’t be stressed every increasing gold costs. At worst, we can always refund it back to you.

Sizing & Fit

 How can I find my ring size?

  • 1 way would be to use an existing ring and send us the inner diameter using a ruler
  • Another method is to use a tape or string and measure your finger's diameter
  • Preferably pop in-store for accurate sizing

Can I resize my ring after purchase?

  • Yes
  • Rings with designs all around are trickey, but there are workarounds

Do you make kids’ jewellery?

  • Absolutely 

Pricing & Payment

How do you price your custom-made jewellery?

  • Based on the metal (gold) price of the day and the workmanship required to craft the jewellery
  • Generally our workmanship is 20-35%, but if we know specifically what is needed we can give a more accurate price

How do you price stones on your jewellery?

  • General rule:
  1. Natural precious gems studded jewellery, is sold based on gross weight
  2. Non-precious and synthetic stones are excluded and the jewellery is sold based on net weight
  • Exclusions:
  1. Where the supplier has sold us jewellery including the non-precious weight, we will sell it as gross weigh
  2. Larger Precious stones, will be sold separately (and in addition) to the gold and making costs

Do you offer payment plans or lay-by options?

  • Yes we have interest-free payment options
  • We accept afterpay and zip pay / zip money and wiz pay and Humm90
  • We also have lay-by

Can I get a quote for my custom design before placing an order?

  • Yes we give free estimates for custom made jewellery

What is the process for placing an order?

  • We send you quote, and if you accept we need a 80% deposit, after which we start production
  • Balance will be payable when the jewellery is ready. 

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship Australia-wide and internationally?

  • We ship all over australia including regional locations.
  • We ship to most international destinations. Some countries like India and Africa we are unable to. 
  • Custom import charges will be excluded in our pricing and will be the importers responsibility. 
  • Purchased over $1000 get free shipping

Is my jewellery insured during shipping?

  • Yes

How long does delivery take?

  • Within australia, usually 3-4 working days
  • International from 5-10 working days

Can I pick up my order in-store?

  • Absolutely and we'd love to see you!

Care & Maintenance

How do I clean my gold and diamond jewellery at home?

  • Best method is using washing detergent and warm water. letting it soak for some time is enough if you do it regularly. 
  • For stubborn dirt you can use a old soft bristle toothbrush to rub off the dirt. 

Do you offer jewellery polishing and cleaning services?

  • Yes we do free ultrasonic cleaning for all our clients
  • We have a polishing service to make your jewellery look new. 
  • Polishing charges are from $80 and up
  • Polishing is done by our in-house jewellers and needs 3-5 working days turnaround

Can you repair broken jewellery or replace lost stones?

  • Absolutely
  • We are very competitively priced for repairing, altering and re-making jewellery

Returns & Warranty

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

  • You can always exchange your purchase
  • After 7 days, if you exchange, you will loose the making charges of the jewellery, which can vary from 15 to 35%. 
  • We do not refund purchased, in case of change of mind, only if the item is faulty and cannot be repaired.

Do you provide a warranty on your jewellery?

  • Our warranty is valid for 12 months
  • It covered all manufactuering defects
  • Please note, if the items is broken or damaged from rough usage, it will not be considered manufacturing defect

What if my custom piece doesn’t turn out how I imagined?

  • We try to go through a very thourough process of understanding your requirements prior to manufacturing. 
  • We want yourselves and us to have the production started knowing that it will come out the way you intend. 
  • If we fall short in the final product, we will be happy to re-make the design.
  • We want the final jewellery to be made up to your satisfaction. 

Other Services

Do you buy old gold or offer trade-ins?

  • Yes we can do both
  • We can also purchase your jewellery, should you not wish to trade-in for something new
  • We only buy/trade gold (not diamonds and not any other metal) 
  • We only buy for the gold content and no charges for design is paid

Do you provide jewellery valuation or certification?

  • Yes we can provide a valuation should you request it

Do you offer bridal and wedding sets?

  • Yes we can cover you head to toe in gold

Assurity

How can I be certain the gold ornaments are genuine?

  • We keep an XRF reader at our store
  • We are happy to test the gold and platinum in your presence (or via video for online clients)
  • The items we sell are with hallmarks
  • We are an Australian Registered company and you are protected by consumer laws for same
  • Can I test and weigh my own jewellery?
  1. We can test your metal for a nominal fee of $20 per item
  2. We are happy to weigh your jewellery for no charge
