Many great things have been told about great people. All about how they inspire you, motivate you and help you progress into the great person you turn into yourself.

One such story stems the humble Mr Amritlal R Dhanak. This is a story of a man who over came a very tough life to end up being where he is. As a young adventurous boy, he decided to take off on ship to end up in Bahrain. Only at the age of 14, he got work as a goldsmith, thanks to a trait he learned from his father back in Gujarat, India.

Scrapping away his earnings, of what little he got in those days, he was able to save enough to buy his first kilo of gold. This allowed him to begin developing his own small retail outlet.

Few years later he met his Mrs. and they started a big family of eight children. Whilst handling is fatherly duties at home, he would be found working late nights or early mornings diligently on customer’s orders.

Mr. Amritlal enjoyed the patronage of the royal families in the Middle East, due to his honesty and integrity. Once he had given his word to deliver an item, he made sure it was done not matter the cost to himself – including his own health.

These characteristics were passed onto his sons, who would go to expand the business. This included expansions within Kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, building the same name in quality and honesty.

Always keeping the business within family hands, it was the next generation of the Dhanak legacy that would go on to open within Australia and Canada.
